Getting Sketchy at the Shoreline

For the first time, I carried a colored medium to the beach. I have found my colored pencils and pocket sized sketchbook are easy to carry and do not weigh me down, which is a WIN for my injured neck! 😃   In two hours this beach will be so packed you can hardly squeeze through the groups of people. Right now, I am enjoying the quiet.

 The calm before the storm.

  Surf’s Up.

And the children said, “we shall build a mighty sand fortress!” And the children worked feverishly for five minutes…until they got distracted. 😉

Kids are funny!
